Imperium

Called the Last Absolute, Azestra was able to take control not only of governmental organs, but also of the thoughts of every citizen of Teos.
With her intimate knowledge of human nature and her terrifyingly developed oratory skills, the princess was able to gain full support for her Throne without the use of the latest genetic loyalty stimulants or mental symbiotic therapy. It was only through her words and charisma that she made the people of Teos believe that supporting her regime was their own choice.

During her most severe period of madness at her own power, Azestra acted according to certain rules, guaranteeing her complete freedom of her own ambitions, no matter how insane they might actually be:

1. Apolitical population.
For ordinary people, politics must cause a crushing sense of pain and seem unbearably complicated to think about. This was the most effective method of unleashing Azestra, for it was thanks to it that almost none of the inhabitants of Teos made any more effort to evaluate her dubious deeds, or to try somehow to put a stop to them. "They know better upstairs, they'll figure it out."

2. Military Cult.
Making the people of Teos fear and respect their own army is a sure step for gaining forceful control over the people. Organizing military events and actively "volunteering" people of all ages to take part in military activities, drills, and demonstrations, instills in them a love of the martial power of their own empire, and prevents them from thinking otherwise. From this, the law enforcement structures suppress the disloyal by their mere existence, despite the fact that they are as little human beings as their people.

3. Expansionary potential.
An empire with great ambitions must always have territory to appropriate. Having a constant territorial "hunger" makes a people think they are living insecurely and incompletely, and thus makes them want to seize new lands. Coupled with the Military Cult, this gives a great barbaric attitude to the population, whatever word you want to call it...

4. Enemies Around.
Azestra has made it clear that only she is to be loved. The ability of her people to trust other nations is simply unacceptable, for then she would have no sole control over the opinions of the people.

5. You are us.
The people of Teos must not think that there are other peoples and civilizations besides them, with their own deep and great history. Before Azestra came to rule, this point was implemented in Hegemony long ago, she only continued to reinforce such a view. All nationalities that are not friendly to Azestra should be given their "alternative" names, in the form of offensive labels spread among the citizens of Teos. It is important that, in the official media, these peoples are still referred to by their real names, to make the information look civilized and weighty.

Azestra achieved record support for her people, who truly believed in the princess's good intentions. Despite the expulsion of Counselor Zera, and other high-ranking disloyal officials, she was able to keep total control over Teos and for a very long time turn her own will into the will of her people, until that very people collapsed.
